![]() I'm sure Rockstar did this so they can keep selling Max Payne and not have to deal with returns. I have the game on disc as well, but didn't realize until it was too late I had never DLed these since I hadn't played the campaign yet (Would prefer to play my digital copy when I do get around to it). Max Payne 3 Content Pack 3 of 3 - you for the heads up, I'll DL these when I get home. These three Content Packs are required for the full single player story in the Games on Demand version still being sold. ![]() I'm actually surprised Rockstar bothered, but they made the three Games on Demand Content Packs available on the external Xbox 360 Marketplace (while delisting the Rockstar Pass and all associated content). This will never be fixed as that will require either a title update or re-enabling Social Club services, neither of which is going to happen.Īn update to this. That's how I got them and I got the standard edition when I first bought it. Anyone who owed Max Payne before this happened also just got the DLCs for free. However, this content can still be re-downloaded from the Xbox 360 Download History if previously claimed. Nah not too long ago the game has been merged fully with all the DLCs, meaning you can't buy them seperately anymore. The digital base game is incomplete because it needs three additional content packs downloaded for single player to play past Chapter VI (which are not visible on the external Xbox 360 Marketplace) and the Rockstar Pass DLCs can no longer be claimed for free within the in-game Marketplace. The in-game Marketplace is no longer accessible as it requires in the first place a connection to Rockstar Social Club services, which means that both the digital base game and the digital Rockstar Pass, which are still being sold on the Xbox 360 Marketplace are now SCAMS for new buyers and possibly old buyers alike (who have yet to claim free pieces of content for the base game or the Rockstar Pass from the in-game Marketplace)! Rockstar tied the in-game Marketplace to their own Social Club services. ![]() Now that the Rockstar servers are closed in Max Payne 3, not only did that affect the Multiplayer component and leaderboards (can no longer upload scores), but also the in-game "Xbox Live Marketplace". I want to bring to light a suspicion that I had regarding Max Payne 3 and the Social Club service closure, which came true.
